I so suck. Believe it or not I’ve actually had blogs where I managed to be both creative and prolific. I had to code everything by hand and I still managed to post at least once a day.
But, whatever… I’m getting old. Maybe I just don’t give a f…
Nah, that’s not it either. I think it has to do with major changes in almost all facets of my life in a relatively short period of time. Some good, some not.
Ended a fifteen year relationship. Moved out. Did I mention I lost my job? So that’s all a little stressy.
Moved in with my best friend. That’s a good thing. She’s a good thing. And her daughter. No stress there, right? Hmmm… what else.. Needlessly and completely avoidably dug myself into a large hole that’s probably going become instantly bottomless long before I get any closer to getting out. Mostly because I refuse to think about it, let alone talk about it in more than ambiguities. Have no fear, however. My priorities I’m told are totally fucked up so there really is no stress there.
I got a dog. Tilde. She’s a rescue. Part Jack Russell. Part Brat Terrier. All perfect.
Oh yeah. I’m also teaching myself to crochet. To take my mind off of the hot flashes.

I can’t take portrait photos. I believe it to be equal parts shyness, inexperience, and the fact that I suck at it. So I’ve decided to challenge myself in yet another way. 100 Strangers is a Flickr group dedicated to taking street portraits.
